How to Reset Wordpress Log-in credentials on Admin page using PhpMyadmin

1.)    Log in to phpmyadmin using your credentials created on control panel

 

 2.)    Once you have log in, at the left pane of page click the database name that you have created.

  3.) Look for table entry “wp-user” and click it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note: Not all the table prefix is “wp” it is a default. It depends on the installation what prefix did you use

 

4.) Look for the username you want to reset the password and click the pencil button to edit the user settings. The password uses an MD5 encryption method.

 

 

5.)  Look for the row “user_pass” then under function choose MD5 for the encryption method and enter the new value for password and click GO button.

 

 

 

And the password has been reset. You may now try to log in for verification.
