1. On your Macintosh desktop, click on to your ‘mail’ icon.

2. As the window appeared, on your menu bar, click on ‘mail’ and click ‘preferences’

 

3. Under your Account Information, fill up the necessary fields:

Description:
YourDomain.com or your general account name, etc.

Email Address:
account@YourDomain.com

Full Name:
Name of the User

Incoming Mail Server (POP3):
mail.YourDomain.com

User Name:
[Complete Email Address]

Password:
Your Email Password

4. Click the outgoing Mail Server Dropdown and select Edit server list.  Apply this fields:

Under the Account Information, apply these settings below:

Description:
mail.YourDomain.com

Server Name:
mail.YourDomain.com

Click the ‘Advanced’ button and apply these settings:

Server Port:
25, 587

Do NOT check the box next to "Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)"

Click the "Authentication" dropdown and select Password

User Name:
userName@yourDomain.com

Password:
Your Email Password

Click OK.

5. Select the 'Advanced' tab.
